Lily walked towards her house, considered to be hell for her. Nodding to the maid that emerged she quickly grabbed something to eat from the dining room and went upstairs to her room, falling asleep instantly. She was soon awakened by the sound of a car in the driveway, announcing the start of another day in her life. He seemed more drunk than usual as he came in screaming her name. Pushing open her door he started cursing as her dragged her out, knocking her down the stairs. Rising she made a quick dash for the door, collapsing in tears when she found it locked. He lifted her into the air, ignoring her cries for him to stop and threw her against the wall, her body falling motionless to the floor, her dirty blond hair spread around her. Opening her eyes for a moment she saw her best friend pummel her father with the police behind him. She smiled before slipping into unconsciousness, a stretcher lifting her into an abulance waiting outside.
