A shocking announcement.

[Sunstreak]

Sunstreak raced past the entry of the Flameclan camp, Iceleaf beside her. Dodging past bewildered cats, she ran towards the High-ledge, a large ridge set on the steepest part of the cup-like walls of the camp which was used for clan meetings. She nodded a thanks to Iceleaf and, stopping abruptly, lithely leaped up on the High-ledge and paused for a moment to catch her breath before yowling
"All cats old enough to catch their own prey join here beneath High-ledge for a meeting of our clan!"
Everyone looked wide-eyed at Sunstreak and staggered over, surprised by her urgency. She nodded her head briefly and said in a loud voice
"We have had two rogues on our territory sending a message from Skorpion. They say beware. Whether it be another fire or a battle, we can't take any chances. We must reinforce our barriers, think up of tactics to beat rogues and douse fire and make sure the Bark-doors are all firm and strong so no rogue can batter themselves through them"
Shocked murmurs ran through the cats. A queen, Tansyflower, exclaimed
"My kits! What if they get my kits?"
Sunstreak grimaced
"That's exactly what I'm worried about"
More mumbles rippled through.
"Now, I must go and see Mythwing and Flamefox to tell them. Duskfall, you will be in charge"
The burly tom bowed his head
"I will do my best"
Sunstreak nodded impatiently
"Now Iceleaf, lets go"

Iceleaf nodded, and walked stiffly next-to Sunstreak.
"Do not worry." She mumbled to Tansyflower "Your kits will be safe. I promise." she reinforced.
Tansyflower nodded briefly, before Iceleaf ran back towards Sunstreak.
"Do you think Dawnfeather is already training her cats?" Iceleaf questioned Sunstreak. "I mean, her clan is strong enough to kill any rogues that cause trouble, and Snakestripe would be able to do the same, because she is such a great fighter!"
She grinned and looked at Sunstreak. "Do you think I would be able to be as good as Snakestripe?"

[Sunstreak]

Sunstreak looked at Iceleaf in surprise.
"Of course you will. Look how talented and fierce you are already! And without any training! I doubt when you reach full strength many would be able to beat you."
She leaped off High-ledge and stretched next to Iceleaf.
"We need to go. We don't know when the rogues might attack. Who knows, they might even be creeping into a clan's territory by now"
