Sunstreak lead her party of cats to the sour stench coming from the south, her pink nose wrinkling. It smelled of rotting prey and blood. They couldn't see the camp yet, but she presumed that it wouldn't be too long before they stumbled upon it. "Ouch!" Sunstreak exclaimed as she felt a pain go through her front left paw. She raised it to find a thorn wedged in there. "Damn thorns" She muttered as she pulled it out with her teeth. A few tiny drops of blood hit the ground before the blood flow quickly stopped and they continued. Sunstreak suddenly felt afraid. Who knows what the rogues would do? Who says they'll happily confess to their crimes. To Sunstreak, they were just wily, backstabbing foes who would think nothing of wiping out a whole clan for their territory. She murmured to Mythwing "I'll take three with me directly into the rogue camp, and three hiding in bushes. Does that sound fair?"

Stream was nursing the three kits in the nursery when a waft of stranger cat floated to her sharp nose. Her pale grey eyes slowly filled with dread. They did not have the ragged, sour smell of a loner or a fellow rogue. She sniffed again carefully, worrying about her kits. She was sure it was. Clan cats. Her mind set to panic. Many seemed to be around too. She wasn't sure whether any of the other rogues would be able to smell. Kidnapping the poor old she-cat. The accidental intrude. They all seemed so foolish now. One cluster against five clans! No chance! She stood up, and the three kits mewed in protest. "Mama, whatcha doin?" Dew squeaked, her silver tabby fur bristling with annoyance. "Now I'm weally cold" complained Storm. Aurora mewed in slight irritation, but seemed to feel the foreboding flooding from her mother's body. She clung close, not saying a word. "Let's go" she said to them, keeping her voice steady, and she nuzzled them before going outside. Where was Black? She couldn't see him. Unless she was with their kits, she always felt insecure. But now was an emergency. She needed to get to Skorpion and her beloved mate. The kits still were bewildered by the sudden decision to go outside. They blinked in the sunlight. She nuzzled them along, fright quickly building in her stomach. "Black!" She called, trying not to sound frightened, but her voice cracked, giving her terror away. "Mama, what's wrong?" Aurora cried. Storm and Dew finally realised Stream's panic and they all started to huddle together, looking at each other with big frightened eyes; Aurora's soft cream optics, Storm's vibrant emerald and amber gems, and Dew's turqoise orbs, all looking around in befuddlement and fear. Stream called out again, this time impatient with fear. "Black!" __________________________________________________

"Oh, you 'right?" Mythwing murmured to Sunstreak when she heard her exclaimation and saw her rip a thorn from between her toes. She then heard her question. "Yeah ... how about one of my Warriors and I go with you two in replacement of two of your Warriors, though? I'll have Snakestripe and the rest of my Warriors wait with the rest of your Warriors outside the camp in case of a battle ... and so we don't intimidate the rogues ... is that okay with you?" She tilted her head and blinked her twinkling emerald eyes.

Sunstreak sent a grateful smile towards the Echoclan leader. "Yes...that sounds quite good" She was about to say a thanks when she was interrupted by a meow from the rogue camp. A dull black she-cat had called frantically to someone or something, surrounded by three kits. She stared adoringly at the kits for a while, but then she figured what the call was. The queen must of smelled them. "Fox-dung!" she whispered. But once again, she looked at the kits and felt some regret. If this wound into a battle, would they be hurt? But where was Sunsetcloud. What if they had....she shook her head. No. Sunsetcloud was stronger than that. Sunstreak blinked and took a deep breath. She already missed Feather, even though it was only twenty minutes from which she had last seen her. Tansyflower whispered in her ear. "Take Iceleaf with you. I think I should just be back-up" Sunstreak turned and gave her friend a faithful lick. Though Tansy was quite pregnant with kits, she had insisted to go, ignoring anyone else's opinion. Sunstreak was glad that she had finally got some sense. "Tansyflower, Duskfall, Hawkscreech and Wavepaw, stay behind and hide in the bushes. Iceleaf, please come with me" She beckoned to the white she-cat to join her and Mythwing.

Iceleaf nodded briefly at her leader, and followed her to Mythwing and Snakestripe. "Sounds good," she said to them.
She tuned towards Tansyflower "Thanks Tansyflower." She whispered just loud enough for her to hear, then turned back to Mythwing, Snakestripe and Sunstreak, and follower them to the foot of the boulder mountain.

Black paused. The scent was faint, as the wind was almost not blowing in this direction, but he could still smell two or three clan scents."Scorpion. We have visitors." He turned around, scenting some rogues. We should head back." he said so, but he was waiting for the go ahead.

Her dark ears flickered towards the sound of her mate's voice. Her eyes followed and finally spotted her beautiful beloved. She sighed in relief and hurried over, careful to slow down enough for her kits. Suddenly she realised her mistake. Why did she bring them into the open? Did she just put them in danger? Dew! Get back here!" She scolded. The bright-eyed she-kit had almost wandered off to talk to one of her friends, a to-be. She quickly scurried back to her mother.
Stream met up with Black. She found him sitting beside Skorpion. Aurora, Storm and Dew were calmed by the sight of their father and leader. Storm bounded up and touched noses with Black, and Aurora and Dew shyly presented themselves to the two. However, Stream was not taking much notice, giving Black a quick subtle nuzzle before placing herself beside him. They already seemed to scent the intruders, and so she whispered in her mates ear; "Should I go back in the nursery with the kits? What will we do?"

(they could at least have their eyes closed. I'll rp as if they had that. It's the least that can happen for the humongous gap in time)
Black blinked, shocked. "Kits?" He blinked at Storm, who mewed happily at his scent, then looked at Stream. His whiskers stiffened, along with the rest of him. "You brought newborn kits out of the camp?" His anger filled that last sentence. But his eyes were still filled with shock and worry. "Why would you do that? Even if you think it would keep them safe? You know there are more dangers out here!" this time he did not wait for an order. "Scorpion, I'm sorry, but i must take her back to camp. I'll be beside you after that. Aurora, follow your mother. Please take Dew, Stream. " He picked up Storm and followed the path back the way they came. when the clan cats finally came into sight, he picked up a little speed in order to stop them at the entrance. He halted at his destination, then placed the kit down between his paws, as close to him as possible, sitting down to wait for Stream to catch up. Calmly, he spoke to the other cats in his presence. "Clan members. I will have to ask that you stay here for a moment. I need to take care of something, then I will invite you in to wait for Scorpion, who will be with you momentarily. I apologize for not asking you in now, but i trust you as much as you trust me, and will not invite you in unless a higher rank is watching." He looked over to be sure Stream had caught up. Then he picked up Storm without waiting for an answer and turned into the camp. His tail still swishing in controlled anger, he took the kit directly to the nursery. Placing Storm down beside Sunsetcloud, he looked at her. "Your clan mates have come, Sunsetcloud. Most likely to take you back. But i would like very much if you could be sure my kits and mate were safe until i come to get you." He whispered this in the old she-cats ear, then turned around to Stream. His eyes showed his concern. "This is the safest spot you could be. Please don't leave from here." He rubbed his face against hers, then again without waiting for an answer from either, he left the nursery.

Sunsetcloud jumped nervously at her name. She had leant dawn to lick the black kit reassuringly, so it had startled her. She listened intently to Black's words. Though he was kind and fair, she had never really got over her fear. But she felt a pang of sympathy for the shamed she-cat bowed down in the corner, though it had been foolish to take the kits out into the open if her clan mates were really here. She had a joyful urge to run out of the nursery and meet her clanmates, but she turned to the almost-black she-cat to see her getting assured by her mate, then he exited the nursery. The kits still looked confused and anxious, so she slowly walked to them and gave each of them a calming lick. The grey cat looked at her gratefully in thanks, and laid down for them to nurse.

Brightfang, unnoticed, had followed along with the clans. She had listened as the cats split up, and had stayed with the group that was going into the rogue camp. As she was a StarClan cat, she did not wish for any to notice her yet. She sat beside Mythwing just before Black stopped them and watched her for a moment. Once he went into the brush leading to the rogue camp, she spoke. "Why do you not mention to the clans of the prophecy you were given?" Brightfang's cool eyes watched Mythwing calmly. "Don't bother asking the other cats about me. You're the only one that can see me presently." She sighed in a tired manner, looking to the entrance.

Mythwing jumped when a white cat appeared beside her, seeming to melt out of mist. Her cool, calm voice sent slight shivers down Mythwing's spine. Her neck fur bristled with alarm. Trying to hide the shock in her voice, Mythwing turned to the other cats, "I ... er- I think I can hear one of our cats calling-out ... I'm gonna go and check it out." "Do you want me to come with you, Mythwing?" queried a fluffy white tom with black ear tips. He was Mythwing's most loyal warrior. His amber eyes held his question and he flicked his white plume of a tail. "Uh ... no thankyou, Cloudheart. I think it'll be best if you stayed with Iceleaf and Sunstreak ... I'll call out if there's any trouble." The dappled she-cat then turned slightly in the StarClan cat's direction and murmured "Follow me ..." With that, Mythwing turned on one paw and headed down the slope, away from the Rogue settlement and into a clump of loose shrubbery. She settled in the sand under the thin, flimsy branches and focused on the transparent figue of the StarClan she-cat. "Greetings," Mythwing dipped her head, "what is your message? Is there a disturbance in StarClan?"

Goldenriver shimmered onto the scene, his pale ginger appearing faintly. He took one glimpse towards his daughter, then back towards the bushes where Brightfang and Mythwing had gone. He sighed. He knew his daughter was fine, but it was killing him not to visit his mate, Sunsetcloud. He sighed. She would not be able to see him since he was only here to meet Mythwing about the prophecy. A little visit wouldn't hurt? It was easy to see where Sunset was. He trotted towards the nursery and peeked in cautiously, as if anyone would be able to see him. There she was, sweet Sunset, helping a stressed mother with her kits. That dark grey she-cat seemed familiar...oh well. He quickly took one last look at his mate, then walked away, quickly padding to where he was supposed to be. He silently joined Mythwing and Brightfang, sitting next to the white she-cat and flicking his tail occasionally, as is to add emphasis.

She patiently followed Mythwing, heard Myth's greeting and question, but flicked her tail for silence until Goldenriver joined. "Listen closely, Mythwing, because i'm only going to say this once." She waited another moment. "The shadows of blood will come to haunt you. Fire and flood will spread and divide you. Five of five will reach to the peaks, and One shall return to bring about peace." The prophocy was over, but Brightfang waited while Mythwing's thoughts and questions caught up to her.

Black returned to the entrance. "Come in, Scorpion will be here in a moment. But mind yourselves. Not all the cats here are as welcoming to Clan cats as I am." He turned away again, disappearing into the shrubs. He walked to the center of the clearing, then turned around.

{OOC- Thanks. I'm such a doofus } Sunstreak looked around for Mythwing, only to find she was not there. There was the long-haired black rogue, and Mythwing was missing. She wanted to call for her, get up and look for the Echoclan leader, but that would be foolish. If she called for her, that would make it even worse. Instead, the golden she-cat gave one last frantic look around for Mythwing before answering the toms question. "Errr...okay. Iceleaf, please come with me" She decided that if she did not take many of the other cats with her, it would not look like she was posing an attack, in which she did not. Besides, Sunstreak could handle her own clan, but trying to take two clans into the open? With rogues all around her? It would be a disaster. She could not see Sunsetcloud, which troubled her. She looked at the rogue tom Please take us to Skorpion It sounded powerful and buissnesslike, totally unlike what she was feeling. She looked back anxiously. She didn't want to look weak, but Mythwing had some kind of connection with Skorpion, and Sunstreak had never gone to the rouge camp before, let alone talked to the leader.

Iceleaf nodded and walked with her leader, with her icy coat next-to Sunstreak's flaming one. They approached the tom, and Sunstreak meowed. Please take us to Skorpion. Her voice was perfect. Stern but calm and controlled. Iceleaf's beautiful turquoise eyes burned into their subject, and she felt a surge of pride wash through her. She was here with her leader and 2 clans behind her. It was nothing the Rogues could do, and if they put up a fight, Snakestripe would set their leader straight, and the other cats would get a run for their money. Her mouth twisted to a suppressed smile. She tried to conceal it, but it was impossible. She was feeling so good.

"Mythwing. It is of vital importance that you tell your clan about this prophocy. For now, Black has invited your group into the camp." She pointed with her tail. "I suggest you go before you're left behind. Meanwhile, Goldenriver and I will speak to the other leaders." Brightfang moved aside for her to go.

Servalite followed Skorpion and Black as they made they're way back, a foreign smell filling her nose. You didn't have to be a mechanical minded genious to figure out that the smell was of other cats, not Rouges. She quickened her pace to catch up with Skorpion. "E-excuse me, Skorpion" she murmured, "but what is going on? Is there intruders in the camp? Foreign cats of sort?" she paused, waiting for an answer, then added "Either way im willing to help, just tell me what to do."
